Blueprints for the Black Market

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York restaurateur has cooked up the most world's most extravagant pizza -- a $1,000 pizza topped with six sorts of caviar and fresh lobster.

Nino Selimaj, who runs six pizza restaurants in New York, on Wednesday unveiled his Luxury Pizza, a 12 inch (30 cms), thin crust topped with caviar, lobster, creme fraiche and chives. Cut into eight, it works out at $125 a slice.

If diners are still peckish after the Luxury Pizza, they can always head over to the midtown restaurant Serendipity that sells a $1,000 ice-cream sundae called Golden Opulence which is covered in 23K edible gold leaf.

Just a guess, but i think that this probably has to do with the reason people hate America.

...and why would you want to eat gold?

Ok, so this is really bad for me and i am forming really bad habits!

On Tuesday i had a midterm that i had known about all semester, and was kinda on my mind for all of Spring Break (last week), but of course i didn't study for it. It is in my World Civ. II class too, so not all that easy. The test consisted of 1 long essay question worth 50 points, and 5 short essay questions worth 10 points each.

Anyway, i didn't start studying for it until Tuesday morning at 10:15... and the test was at 11:20!!!

So i studied for about an hour for this ridiculous midterm, and was honestly kinda nervous about what kinda of grade i would get... and i got it back today...

89!!!!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!

And the guy beside me who studied for days (i feel really sorry for the guy) ended up getting a 41, and the girls next to me studied for about 4 hours and got a 60 and 63...

i'm beginning to think my spiritual gift is BS'ing

over.

So my English class is on Tues. and Thurs. from 5:30-6:55. The other day i had a 5 page paper due, and me being the extremely intelligent college student that i am, decided to start writing it at 5:15 (pm)...

i finished the paper at 6:00 and frantically run across campus trying to find a computer lab that is still open. i finally find one, print out the paper and run to class 55 minutes late and out of breath. (completely forgetting to proofread!)

So i got the paper back last class period...

96!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!

What now, people who actually put an effort into studying? What now!?!?

doubt that'll happen again though!

BERLIN (Reuters Life!) - A 43-year-old German decided to settle his imminent divorce by chainsawing a family home in two and making off with his half in a forklift truck.

Police in the eastern town of Sonneberg said on Friday the trained mason measured the single-storey summer house -- which was some 8 meters (26 feet) long and 6 meters wide -- before chainsawing through the wooden roof and walls.

"The man said he was just taking his due," said a police spokesman. "But I don't think his wife was too pleased."

After finishing the job, the man picked up his half with the forklift truck and drove to his brother's house where he has since been staying.

...good thing they didn't have any children...
